Above, you’ll see our pitch deck for the film – outlining our plans on production as well as how we’d like to distribute the film. Our team is invested in making a documentary that truly explores and honors the legacy of Nguyen Duc Quang and we need to raise $250,000 to accomplish that.
Your contributions are key to a successful campaign to raise enough funds to launch this project. And such kindness cannot go unrewarded! Below, you will see the Donation Credit Tiers – these are Credit Rewards for large contributions.
In addition, we are offering a “waterfall” method to facilitate returns of donations – should the film be sold to a major distributor and make a profit.
Donation Credit Tiers
$125,000* OR GREATER: PRESENTATION CREDIT
Applicable to a distributor, broadcaster, company or individual. Affords a static or animated company
logo (if applicable) at the top of the film and up to four individual Executive Producer credits in the main
titles, if requested.
$50,000 OR GREATER: IN ASSOCIATION WITH CREDIT
Affords a static or animated company logo (if applicable) at the top of the film and up to two individual Executive Producer credits in the main titles, if requested.
$25,000 OR GREATER: EXECUTIVE PRODUCER CREDIT
Affords a credit in the main titles and a static company logo (if applicable) in the logo section of the end credits. Financiers who typically invest as a duo (e.g. a married couple or business partners) may be treated as a single entity. Additional individual Executive Producer credits can each be acquired for a supplemental 2.5% of the total budget.
$18,750 to $24,999: CO-EXECUTIVE PRODUCER CREDIT
Affords a credit in the main titles or in the end credits, and affords a static company logo (if applicable) in the logo section of the end credits.
$6,250 to $18,749: CONTRIBUTING PRODUCER CREDIT
Affords a credit and a static company logo (if applicable) in the logo section of the end credits.
$2,500 – $6,249: ADDITIONAL FUNDING SECTION
Affords inclusion in this section of the end credits and/or a static funder/company logo (if applicable) in the logo section of the end credits.
*for “first money” in (contributions before initial 25% raised) – ALL Credit Tiers Requirements are halved.

THE WATERFALL
All large contributions (donations exceeding $2499) can opt into the WATERFALL – a financial order of returns of donations. The order starts with largest contributions on top and descends to lowest. IF the film is sold for a large enough deal – one that nets a profit – before any of that profit reaches the filmmakers, it will first be used to pay returns on donations to those in the WATERFALL.
The larger your contribution, the higher you are on the WATERFALL and the higher chance you have of a return of your donation. This is not a guarantee of return nor a promise of profit. The WATERFALL prioritizes those at the top, and should profit run out before reaching contributions below then those donations cannot be returned – although partial returns are possible.
